Flute Lesson Application Form
Four years as a student leader in Oberlin College’s STEM pedagogy program has heavily informed my musical teaching style. Instead of relying on outdated metaphors or ambiguous words, I work with each student to find their own musical voice while building strong fundamentals. Students are encouraged to choose their own music (whether classical, pop, rock, etc.) so that they feel excited to pursue their own musical goals.

Most flute lessons will be in the student’s own home. If you live far, or commute into Manhattan during the day, we may be able to book an external studio space.

Lessons must be paid at the end either in cash or through an electronic service such as Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.

No worries! Life is busy and things happen. You can cancel and reschedule for free up to 24 hours before the lesson. Less than 24 hours before, I will still charge for the lesson. Exceptions can be made in extreme circumstances.

I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.

Unfortunately, no. Students are responsible for obtaining their own instruments. I will teach each student how to care for and be responsible with their flute, though!
